Natureza, the “Soccer King”, is an incredibly skilled midfielder that plays for Brazil and Real Madrid. He has a natural great talent for football, but he also honed his body from childhood, running 30km to school everyday. When he first shows up he has a mysterious personality, but later on we discover that he is very friendly and cheerful.
Natureza first confronts Tsubasa in the World Youth Tournament final, where he is defeated. After this loss he decides to go to Spain and play for Tsubasa’s Barcelona‘s main rival Real Madrid. That season they face each other twice, in the matches known as “Clasicos”. In the first one Tsubasa is the clear winner, but in the second one, after seriously leveling up his game, they end up drawing.
His best friend at Real Madrid is fellow brazilian Roberto Carolus, also known as Robecaro. It is also worth noting that he is one year younger than most of the Tsubasa’s generation members.
