Taichi Nakanishi, “the giant keeper” from Osaka, appears mostly in the original Captain Tsubasa storyline. He is also known in occident as Teo Sellers (Borjini in South America). As a kid, thanks to being incredibly big (170 cm and 70 kg at twleve years of age), he is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in Japan.

Later on he loses importance in the series, as Yuzo Morisaki gets the position of third keeper of the national team instead of him. However, he is called for the training camp in preparation of the Olympic Games qualification tournament, but he does not make the final cut. He makes his debut for Japan in a friendly training game against New Zeland.

Nakanishi is one of the new characters included in the third DLC of the videogame Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.

Videogames: Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, Captain Tsubasa ZERO – Miracle Shot, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of the New Champions.
