Nankatsu Elementary School is the first team where Tsubasa Ozora plays. Its main rival is Shutetsu ES, captained by Genzo Wakabayashi. They eventually join forces and form (along with a few other schools) the Nankatsu Selection Team, to represent the city of Nankatsu at the Elementary School National Tournament.

Nankatsu ES is also known as Niupi in Europe.
