Shutetsu ES is a private elementary school in the city of Nankatsu. Its main rival is Nankatsu ES, captained by Ryo Ishizaki and reinforced by Tsubasa Ozora. They eventually join forces and form (along with a few other schools) the Nankatsu Selection Team, to represent the city of Nankatsu at the Elementary School National Tournament.

Shutetsu ES won the National Tournament the year before Tsubasa did so with Nankatsu SC.

Shutetsu is also known as Saint Francis or San Francis in occident.
