This was the second Japan vs Holland (Netherlands) friendly matches that took place before the World Youth Tournament and its Asian Qualifiers Tournament. These matches were published in 1993 in the one shot called “Captain Tsubasa World Youth Special: The strongest opponent! Netherlands Youth”.

Tsubasa was not available for this match and as a result Netherlands won easily, even though his captain Brian Kluivoort did not play. We know that Holland won 7-0 and that forwards Gert Kaiser  and Johan Rensenbrink scored at least a goal each.
