• Golden 23 Prologue (February 2006), where Japan plays against Germany in a non-canonical friendly game before the 2006 World Cup.
• Japan Dream 2006 (July 2006), where the real life Japan faces Captain Tsubasa’s Japan Olympic team in the last preparation game before the 2006 World Cup.
• Shonen Jump 40th Anniversary (August 2008), where Nankatsu ES plays a friendly game against Shutetsu ES, after the end of the National Elementary School Tournament.
• Wish for Peace in Hiroshima (August 2008), where Japan U-23 plays against Greece, the european champions, in preparation for the Madrid Olympic Games.
• Live Together (June 2010), where Japan plays against Argentina in a non-canonical friendly game before the 2010 World Cup.
