Recap
Japan vs Greece was a friendly game held in Japan in preparation for the Madrid Olympics. The japanese under 23 team faced the senior Greece team, the current european champions.
In the first half, Kages (the top-scorer of Bundesliga with 26 goals, the same as Schneider) and Selinas scored for Greece, the both of them assisted by Kyrious.
During half-time defender Yuji Soga replaced forward Shun Nitta, resulting in Kojiro Hyuga playing as the only striker for Japan. This substitution worked out since shortly afterwards Tsubasa and Taro Misaki scored with a twin shot, assisted by Hyuga. In the 65th minute Hyuga put the equalizer in the scoreboard, assisted by Tsubasa. After this goal goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi replaced defender Ryo Ishizaki, and Ken Wakashimazu was moved from the goal to the front, joining Hyuga in a top-two formation. However the score did not move and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
