Japan vs Sweden was the first quarterfinal game of the World Youth Tournament in Captain Tsubasa. It was played at the Mitsuzawa Stadium, in Yokohama.
The match was scoreless in regular time. Tomeya Akai helped to keep Japan’s goal intact by blocking several of Stefan Levin‘s shots with his body. He had to be replaced by Hikaru Matsuyama for the extra time.
Tsubasa Ozora scored the golden goal in the 15th minute of extra time, assisted by Kojiro Hyuga.
