Juan Diaz scored a hat-trick for Argentina, but both Carlos Santana and Natureza did the same thing for Brazil, with Rivaul most likely assisting in every goal. The final score of 6-3 allowed Brazil to move to the semifinals, where they will face France.

Japan dominated the game. In the 80th minute Takeshi Sawada replaced Shingo Aoi and a few minutes later assisted Kojiro Hyuga for his third goal of the match.

Argentina beat Nigeria easily, with a hat-trick from its ace and captain Juan Diaz.
