Recap
Japan vs Thailand was the last game of the first stage of the Asian Qualifiers for the World Youth Tournament in Captain Tsubasa.
Japan made it it to the next round thanks to a last minute goal by Shingo Aoi, who came in at the end of the first half (along with Genzo Wakabayashi), when Japan was trailing 4-1. The winning goal was a great Rovesciata kick after a great pass from Tsubasa Ozora.
Aoi scored a hattrick, with the second goal being a twin overhead kick tagging with Tsubasa.
